Nortrans have successfully implemented a TruckSafe fully accredited Maintenance and Fatigue Management Program.

The aim of Fatigue Management accreditation is to achieve improvements in road safety and transport productivity along North Queensland’s roads.

The Fatigue Management module is primarily about road safety, but it also provides added flexibility for Nortrans to implement internal auditable accredited systems to manage driver fatigue.

Nortrans are licensed in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, promoting safety in handling, offering for transport, and transporting of dangerous goods, substances and articles that have explosive, flammable, toxic, infectious or corrosive properties.
