Locally owned and operated out of Townsville, the Battle family have been instrumental in the shipment of heavy and dangerous goods with our North Queensland heavy freight services. The Battle name is synonymous with all facets of Townsville heavy carriers’ industry, mining and construction.

The original seeds of Nortrans began in 1945 as Malanda Milk Transport Company, from these humble beginnings transporting milk, Nortrans is now a nation-wide deliverer for, amongst others, major gas and concrete clients. Despite the changes over the decades however, it’s still a family-run business.
